Creating effective personas

Summary: Currently, audience description artifacts are often used to increase empathy and provide information about users. However, they can be much more than passive dust-collectors if we begin to use them as a proactive decision-making tool. By empowering user personas or JTBD with new perspectives and actively using them to guide our decisions, we can leverage their potential to help us make more informed choices and better serve our target audience.
